In a momentous performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup 2022 Official finals on Sunday, Nigerian singer Davido joined Aisha and Trinidad Cardona to sing “Hayya Hayya” (Better Together).

Since his son Ifeanyi tragically drowned in September, Davido has not performed in front of any audience.

The FIFA theme song was performed by the trio in front of the expected 88,000 spectators at Lusail Iconic Stadium in Qatar.

Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Ozuna and French rapper Gims‘ collaboration Arhbo‘ also performed during the tournament’s final event, which FIFA titled “A Night to Remember.”

Nora Fatehi, a Moroccan-Canadian singer, Balqees, an Emirati pop sensation, Rahma Riad, an Iraqi musician, and Moroccan vocalist Manal wrapped up their sets with “Light the Sky.”
The trio appeared from beneath the stage like a flower opening up.
