Strict efforts have been put in place to contact the owner whose contact info was traced back using information
supplied on his Immigration form, during the clearance period, although the Command is yet to hear from him.

It is however advisable that passengers at all times, should complete their Immigration forms with genuine information at both the Arrivals & Departures as that’s the only way to contact them in a case like this.

The NIS MMIA Command, Ikeja, Lagos has assured that the items are safely kept in the Command, awaiting onward delivery once the owner is on the ground and verified.
