Valvin Tycoon Ep Download
In every career, there are turning points in which new lanes open up, and the world suddenly seems to expand. In the process, this can mean that previous plateaus now seem like a distant memory, and what was once perceived as your ceiling now feels like a gross underestimation of your potential.
For Valvin, his career has had a steady stream of these moments, this is evidenced in this EP (Tycoon), his first project release for the year, which demonstrated what he is capable of when he locks into a creative wavelength with his musical ingenuity.
The surreptitious fact that is unknown to most Afro-beat music fans, is, that Valvin has been quite busy making good music. He’s truly always working.
In 2021 he released a collab single with BNXN titled No Worry, which trended at the said time, and he has done a number of other great music. He’s also worked a couple of times with the finest and premier music artists and producers in the continent.
Listeners of underground and alternative music are well acquainted with Valvin’ and his works.
Tycoon the EP is a belle amongst Valvin’s works, present or past. It is a 5 song EP, with no features. Check out the tracklist to Tycoon;
Tycoon: The opener of the EP and also the eponymous title, is unique on every front. Valvin’s trademark baritone voice slides like syrup over the production. Totally blows your mind off.
Attention: This track is easily the most elegant-sounding song on the project. The dreamy piano sample is paired with an equally smooth guitar loop, while Valvin adds more character to the song through his delivery. Lifestyle: Valvin in this song emitted personal feelings and reflections which paired well with the production.
